ABOUT THE TEAM

Working towards FA Charter Standards

WINNING IS NICE BUT ENJOYMENT IS EVERYTHING

We would like to personally welcome you to Boulton Lane Park Raiders Website. We have been established since 1992 and have grown ever since!!.Children from primary school age going through secondary school and then become employed or in full education. Some have returned as volunteers and coaches, some have gone on to play professionally.

The club is headed by a committee which comprises of a Chairperson,Secretary,Treasurer,Equipment Officer,Child Protection Officer and others who head up Health and Safety and other essential areas in order to keep the children safe and the parents informed.

During its growth and the dedication of the managers and coaches(all volunteers and dedicated to the club). Boulton Lane Park Raiders has grown, not only developmentally within the league, but also in numbers of teams and children actively involved. There are now two teams for the girls and possibly more to follow as people recognise that football is a sport for all.

The coaches and managers either have or are working towards there FA level one coaching certificates. Not only do they know how to get the best out of the children in their game, but they also know how to deal with most situations should they arise. They will risk assess areas and ensure that the environment children train and compete in is safe and free from hazards.

The club is working towards FA Charter Standards at the moment and just about everything is in place for use to obtain it. We work hard and play fair, we expect the best from the children and will give them everything they need to succeed and reach their own potential in football. We expect children and parents to abide by the club policies and procedures and code of conduct. In return,we offer excellent training, support and commitment for each child and for that child to develop as part of a team..

Kind regards
The Committee
